Faire (Irish: keeping watch) is a citizen condition register for Ireland's recorded monuments. The monuments and their descriptions are the National Monuments Service Sites and Monuments Record, CC BY 4.0. Reports are observations by members of the public, read by a person before publication, and offered to the National Monuments Service and the county heritage officers. Faire is not the authority on any monument: the NMS is. Not affiliated with the NMS or any council yet.

Every monument on the record is protected under the National Monuments Acts. It is an offence to interfere with one. Look, photograph, report; never dig, never remove, never cut. Most are on private land: view from the road or ask the landowner. Townlands from townlands.ie (OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL). Privacy · Contact
